This post was created as additional guide to my S3 Secure URL plugin for WordPress. However, and haven't updated mentioned plugin for several years, so most likely, techniques described in that blog post were outdated.

If you want to sell digital files in WordPress, I would recommend to take a look to Easy Digital Downloads.

Unfortunately, I do not have a text-copy of the original blog post, as the post was written using WordPress CMS in 2015, and backup file was corrupted, and could not be restored.

I do not work with WordPress since 2016, and have no plans to update any of my Wordpress plugins.
